Updated Script

Plans

Following Running Order/Content Plan

We followed the script perfect, excluding any sections where the content was intended to be improvised. The running order and timing was changed slightly depending on how long each section lasted, but the overall estimations for the length of the radio stayed the same.

Following Safe Working Practices

This radio was recorded under COVID-19 conditions. Each person in the radio was alone when they recorded it, and maintained social distancing rules the entire time. Everyone recorded without masks to ensure the quality of the audio, but that was the only occasion where social distancing rules could not be maintained, and on each occasion the person was alone in the room so there would be no problems with spreading infections.
We had permission to record each performer in the radio.

Following Production Processes

As much as we could given the situation, we followed production processes. All of the paperwork and planning was completed, the audio was recorded, all the media was edited, and it all went according to plan.

Setting Up Appropriate Equipment

Unfortunately the entire project had to be carried out under social distancing conditions, so we did not have access to all of the necessary equipment needed. What we did have access to was the software. The entire radio was edited using Adobe Audition. The audio was recorded using the microphone on a Samsung phone, and although the quality wasn't quite production level as it might have been if we had used a more professional microphone, it was still good enough that the voices were audible and the dialogue was clear.
